Dayle Davidson, Ph.D.
Principal, Hartnett & Associates/Research & Planning

   Dayle Davidson, Ph.D. is a nationally recognized educator and curriculum developer. For Hartnett & Associates she focuses her expertise on research, training, and program development. As part of Hartnett & Associates, she has provided research and counsel to Care Level Management, thinkLA (formerly the Los Angeles Advertising Agencies Association), Back to Life, the Huntington Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau, and California State University, Long Beach. 
   Previously, Dayle created and directed a college program with 45+ instructors serving 2,500+ international students, as well as taught academic English as a second language at Santa Monica College. She has expertise in cross-cultural communication, and facilitated cross-cultural groups in the UCLA Graduate School of Business. She also worked at the Center for the Study of Evaluation for UCLA’s Graduate Department of Education doing research on artificial intelligence. 
   She combines a strong international sensitivity with curriculum development, linguistics, learning and instruction, marketing, and management knowledge and skills. Dayle Davidson holds degrees in English and Speech, Applied Linguistics, and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has published articles and presented at professional conferences such as AERA, CCCESL, CATESOL, and TESOL.

Joe Hartnett
Principal, Hartnett & Associates/Brand Strategy

   Joe Hartnett is known around the world for his expertise in brand development, integrated marketing management, and executive coaching for clients in consumer healthcare, travel, education, financial services, retail, and the general market. Hartnett & Associates, Inc. was founded in December, 2005 to provide consultation services to corporate clients. 
   During his career, Joe has provided expertise to leaders such as Pepperdine University, Countrywide, Crystal Cruises, Tahiti Tourisme, Malaysia Airlines, Bushnell Sports Optics, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Roland USA, Petco, the City of Hope Medical Center, and California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). A seminar course Joe and his team have developed, “The Art & Science of Integrated Marketing Communication” has been delivered to City of Hope, Dunn Edwards, and Pepperdine University.
   Joe is a popular speaker at branding, integrated marketing communication, and results-driven marketing conferences, leading corporations, and universities in the U.S. and abroad. He is a founding Board member of thinkLA, member of the General Advisory Board of Santa Monica College, and is past Chairman of the Board of the American Cancer Society, Los Angeles.
